New Quebec Street

Acting on behalf of the Portman Estate we were instructed to find a tenant on 12 New Quebec Street. Our task was to find a tenant that would feel on point within the Marylebone village. We identified Roketsu an authentic Japanese restaurant fronted by seven Michelin starred chef, Yoshihiro Murata, a hugely respected culinary icon and agent for change. Roketsu will bring the finest in Kaiseki (Japanese multi course dinner) tradition to London diners. . As one of the only Kaiseki masters globally, and a protégée of Murata, Head Chef Daisuke Hayashi will be the first to bring traditional Kaiseki dining to life in London, following his Head Chef residency at Tokimeti? in Mayfair.

Split across two floors, the restaurant also includes a dedicated area where customers can witness and engage in a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. The interior has been designed by the late Sotoji Nakamura’s family business, known for authentic Japanese tea rooms and the Edi Koji shopping alley at Haneda International Airport in Tokyo. Roketsu aims to inspire and teach its diners about Japanese culture, providing them with the most authentic Kaiseki experience.
